They were arrested by the National Invesitgation Agency in the Kanakamala IS terror plot case.
The youths 'had got together and formed an ISIS terror module named Ansarul Khilafa-KL over social media platforms and had made preparations to carry out terrorist attacks against prominent persons, including judges, police officers and politicians, and also against foreign nationals and rationalists', it said.
During searches conducted in Kozikhode and Kannur districts of Kerala these six people were arrested, the spokesman said. Five of them were arrested when they were allegedly conducting a meeting at Kanakamala hilltop in Kannur district.
